A friend of mine sent me this. I know it's not Mac OS, but it is really cool! Wish Apple will make some cood handhelds like this.

I would hope that Apple could do better. An iPod based handheld would be pretty "cood"!

I tend to agree, except the time when I really don't want to carry my laptop with my on a trip and a PDA is just too small for the files I use, I can see myself getting this one.

If only Apple would come out with something like this...sigh...

go in for one of the Sharp Zauri... c760 or c860 if you want a minitop or a SL-5500/5600/6000 for a more traditional PDA.

Love mine.

Don't try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.

I did do a research on the C760 and C860, funny thing is that the same place that had the review of the Nexio had a review of C860.

The only thing about using the Zaurus is the application collection. While Unix doesn't scare me, I don't have time to do additional programming for essential apps I must have to use this thing, I'm a little hesitant. Incidently they have a review of some apps.

It would have been nice if they sold the C860 in the stores so that I can check out the keyboard.

What I don't get is why companies don't simply make a normal sized keyboard that can have something fit into it, like a laptop sized keyboard, they're not THAT big, and if you're going to be typing anything you probably won't want to be typing it with your thumbs. And just have the keyboard fit into the bottom, like those old Palm ones only have the thing be one solid slab. If Apple made a PDA like that, or even one that could just plug into an iPod and record text as I type I'd use it.
