I returned my dud iPod to the Apple Store, and they gave me a new one, no questions asked!
Apparently, I'm a sig violator. I feel honored. Oops.

I would expect that. Apple stands behind their products, and if a new Apple product turns out to be bad, they should replace it right away.

Yeah, I was running diagnostics, and it just failed... All i had to do was sign the sheet to show where I lived, etc...
