What these fiends do is exceedingly rude, but it is not worth violating free speech just to get rid of them. They've been chased away by the locals before, and that is the proper way to deal with things like that.

I'd agree that they should have the right to make their hateful, ignorant protests. That being said, being an advocate of smaller government, I think the government has enough on its hands, so they could look the other way while the deceased soldier's brothers in arms beat the living crap out of these people.
And can I please state that these people do not represent the vast majority of Christianity? They're as common (if not less so) than snake handlers in the mountains.
