The machine is a stunner. I got the most basic model, and it screams through everything I lay on it.

It is very quiet, and the screen to the edges looks fantastic. I also like that the area below the screen got smaller, I never thought that looked good on the previous models.

The screen also as a very wide viewing angle, and you probably won't use it on full brightness.

The machine is so incredibly well built that I cannot believe I am sitting in front of a 1100 € computer.

I also use it with my 52" TV, and the native TV resolution is perfect for mirroring, though I actually dislike the 16:9 ratio on computers for non-video stuff.

All in all, I think will be one of the best Macs I ever owned (and it's my 13th machine).

I have the same thoughts about my 27" model.

I agree about the area at the bottom getting smaller - I like that. I always thought it looked like my 17" iMac had a goatee

I agree that it makes the machine look nicer, but it has annoying side affect for me, because I already have my iMac raised on the table by ~17cm to get it to a reasonable ergonomic position, I would have to find a couple more pieces of wood for the pile.
