Bound to happen:

On the Aussie Apple Store, you get told that the iPad is WiFi + 4G--when of course it isn't in Australia, as well as in most of the world. The iPad is 4G only on two US telcos and 3 Canadian telcos.

What the regulators don't like: false advertising!

You'd have thought that Apple would have covered its legal ass?

So, there are going to be loads of similar lawsuits all over the world...

And now Apple has to email all Aussie iPad buyers to offer a refund:

Question is, did Apple think they could get away with this, or did Apple overlook the issue because nobody was paying attention, eg Steve isn't around?
