I find this humorous. Microsoft has developed a pop up stopper in their service pack 2 for Windows XP. Take a look at this picture. So, basically, a window is going to pop up asking you if you want to block the pop ups? Doesn't that somewhat defeat the point of having annoying windows popping up? ...haha...plus, I believe you have to do this for every new site you visit that has pop ups. Wow, yet another creative *cough* innovation *cough* by M$. (Sure took them a while to realise Safari is superior to IE..)

actually, you get the little pop-up in Omni-Web and Mozilla if you dont check it to block pop-ups in prefs. and its not like it shows the pop-up before the pop-up window telling you if you want to stop pop-ups, it hides the pop-up, then has a little pop-up telling you that you can stop unwanted pop-ups. do you think i used pop-ups enough in that sentence?

Admittedly, MacCentral's pop-ups are particularly annoying. However, this seems to be more of the insidious Mac-bashing which I suspect he gets paid to do.
