Hi

I am about to get my first powerbook - in prep I've bought a couple of things including some blank dvd media.

One box has the following warning :-
Pioneer DVR-A03/103,A04/104 users must update firmware to support this media, [/b]failure to update will cause damage to the drive.[/b]

WTF!!! How do I know what drive Apple have in my pb or what firmware it is up to.

Anyone have an opinion on this?
this sig intentionally left blank
