Apple Australia dropped their prices on the new iPod and at the same time dropped all the included accessories. To purchase all the gear to get what was offered before brings the price almost to the same amount.

Some stores drop their prices when they are out of stock. Then when stock comes in, prices go back up (and you cannot pre-order or get a rain-check).
