Is it possible to have iTunes play music to an airport express stereo and through the Mac's own speaker setup?

I tried to get this working on the weekend but no luck. I wanted to play the same music in both the lounge and my study - seems iTunes has a "one at a time" policy

Anyone had any luck getting their iTunes to play sound in local and expressed places?

i would just use iTunes for the lounge, then some other music player for the mac (realplayer/vlc).

Would be annoying, but i think apple try and keep things simple, which means you cant do anything they havent thought you might.
