Last night I tried to use Toast 6 to make a backup copy of a Canon digital camera photo disk. Toast gave some error messages about not being able to unmount the cd, and then continued. When I tried to burn the cd I got a "buffer underrun" error and Toast crashed.

Now the bad part. My superdrive now recognizes dvds and program cd's as blank cd's, and they can't be played or otherwise accessed. Audio cd's are recognized, but wont load into itunes to be played. Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to get my superdrive healthy again?

Thanks, Rich

BTW I am using Tiger. Has anyone heard of compatability problems with Toast 6? Would ressetting the PRAM help?
