I don't really like Mexican Coke actually. To me it has too much of a bite.

No it doesn't, there is only one recipe for the syrup. The only ingredient that may change is the type of sweetener and how much. Cane sugar, Kosher sugar, and high fructose corn syrup. Yes, there's a Kosher Coca-Cola.

Excuse me, but there's something many of you have overlooked -- and if you live in the South, well.... shame on you!!
For the ultimate in fizzy sugary beverages is....
Cheerwine

I kid. I have been known to "do the dew". Mostly at Taco Bell. Something about cheap faux mexi-food and the dew...
Every time I see a pic of your dog I want to get a scotty. Looks like a fun dog to own.
Thanks.

Cheerwine is its own thing. It's a heavenly all-cherry-flavored soda that's mostly available in the Southeast, though it's made its way as far west and north as parts of Iowa and Wisconsin.
'Tis the ambrosia of the gods themselves, it is. I believe they have an agreement with Pepsi bottlers/distributors to handle it, but they're an independent company.

My vote: Coke.
I want my $5!!!
There is no lesser of two evils here. They taste exactly the same, exactly equally disgusting.
Coca Cola has the nicer logo and branding... but Pepsi has the better ads and colours.
Seriously, they are absolutely, 100 per cent equal to me. And I drink neither, except at gunpoint, which thankfully happens rather seldom.

Egads!!! Sorry for my mistake.
I was think I was thinking scottie because my wife was telling me that for some reason less people are allergic to scotties than any other breed. She's also looking at wippets and Italian greyhouds.
I'd rather have a westie.

I knew It! I told my wife they have to pay the polar bears to drink Coke.
Back in the day when Coke and Pepsi were sold in steel cans I drew to like Pepsi because I could taste the can (or the weld) when I drank Coke.

I am the start of a new generation with Pepsi. In auto shop we used to clean batteries with Coke because no other soda has the power to get rid of corrosion. This solidified my choice for Pepsi

EDIT: Oh, and worst of ALL sodas just might be Moxie.
I think we've been down this road before.
Moxie, same taste, new owner
By DENIS PAISTE
New Hampshire Union Leader Staff April 6, 2007
Cornucopia Beverages, a unit of Bedford-based Coca-Cola Co. of Northern New England Inc., has acquired the Moxie brand from Atlanta-based Monarch Beverage Co. Terms were undisclosed.
Cornucopia previously bottled Moxie under license from Monarch.
"There's really nothing to compare it to. It's not a cola, and it's not a root beer; it's its own little niche," Moxie brand manager Justin Conroy said in a telephone interview.
Conroy said no immediate changes are planned as a result of the brand purchase.
Last year, the Moxie brand sold about 450,000 192-ounce cases, equivalent to 7.2 million 12-ounce cans.
The drink is bottled in Londonderry, N.H., Worcester, Mass., and Catawissa, Pa. Conroy said 75 percent of production ships from Londonderry.
Tracing its roots to Maine-born Dr. Augustin Thompson, Moxie was first marketed as a carbonated soft drink in 1884. Today, the soft drink is available in regular, diet and energy drink versions. It is Maine's office state soft drink. The Moxie page on the Monarch Beverage Co. Web site states that Moxie was first marketed in 1876 as a medicine.
The word moxie has come to mean energy, or pep, in common usage.
New England Pride: Cornucopia Beverages acquires Moxie Brand
And I have NEVER equated the word "moxie" with "pep."

Well actually, I'm primarily a Coke person -- mostly 'cause I can't get Cheerwine where I live.
Although at work I've taken to drinking Diet Dr Pepper just to try to limit my sugar intake. 'Tis the only diet drink I can stand (that's stocked in the vending machines).

Used to prefer Pepsi: till I couldn't get a coke for migraining wifey in Dallas FW airport (she of the very picky). [They supposedly ban Coke from DFW.]
Now I can enjoy boycotting Pepsi, since Am Airlines won't permit me to boycott "the city that made Zapruder famous."

Oh, and to answer your 8-month-old question, Oisin...
I didn't think I'd like pineapple orange banana juice either, but it pleasantly surprised me.
I do like the "classics" though. Grape, orange, apple, and pineapple (while in Mazatlán, Mexico, it was the best).

I stopped drinking soda years ago.
But when I did, I was a Diet Coke addict. Sometimes Fanta Orange, Grape Nihi, Fresca, Orangina, and A&W Root beer too.
I always found Pepsi too fruity for a cola.

How about Crystal Pepsi? I mean the original flavour - before PepsiCo changed it into a nasty tasting citrus drink. The original was, in my opinion, one of the best tasting soft drinks ever introduced.
