Stopped in at an electronics store to buy an airport card for my newly fixed Pismo...The "sales guy" tells me that my Pismo cannot use airport. Is this correct? Which model wireless so I need???

Thanks!

The original (not extreme) airport card works fine and is a simple install.

Just to test, I booted up OS9 for the first time in months to test airport (I have a Pismo with 768 K RAM, 60 GB HD). Worked fine.

The card was an easy install just be careful with the ribbon cables

Of course it works in Pismo. Everyone complained about Airport range in the TiG4s being crappier than the Pismos!

Try using Mozilla. But OS X runs fine on my Pismo with 512mb ram.

Second the Mozilla choice. Seriously, upgrade to panther- It runs pretty well on the Pismo - I still use it as my everyday computer. You will see that now that you have an airport card you will be able to do alot more in the way of accessing networks in 10.3.
