Have you messed with Tiger yet?

I haven't messed with any themeing since I got my new job, and was wondering if you had a Smooth Stripes Extras.rsrc for Tiger.

If you don't have access to said file I am sure one could find itself into your possession.

I've messed a little bit with it, but I'm busy with a new job as well

I'm gonna update the themes in time though, I'll see what I'll do with SmoothStripes.

I just hacked the stripes out of Tiger myself. They finally got on my nerves enough.
Thanks though.

Without Aqua Extreme/Smoothstripes, Tiger will be unusable. It's getting more and more inconsistent. Save us, Max.

There is going to have to be a ThemePark update before he is going to be able to.

The titlebars are changed in Tiger, and it has some weird transparent background added to it when ThemePark copies it.

How are you guys changing the resources? With ThemePark? I tried it that way, but it's kinda funky with some of the elements. Managed to get the menubar modded, but the right-half (under the menulings) was still the old gloss.

I gues TP needs updating for the new Tiger stuff.

I think they hacked them out the old-fashioned way: by physically replacing the .rsrc files with copies of their own design.

I've tried to mess with it this weekend with no luck.

Cheers, guys.

I'll probably wait until TP is out, I'm not too clued up on resource hacking.

How does one physically replace them? That is what you are doing in the first place isn't it?

Or do you mean swatch resources using a resource editor?

Well, I managed to get the menubar back to the Panther one, so I'm chuffed for the moment.

Just need to change the white background that non-metal Finder windows have for the status bar.
