As soon as my Canon 40D and 50mm f/1.2L lens sell on eBay, I'm getting another 360.

Look for me online very soon.

Seek help, my friend.

In the meantime, I will kill you mercilessly on xbox live.
(What are you picking up to go with it, anyway?)

Halo 3
NCAA 10 or Tiger 10 (toss up at this point)
CoD4

I have some buddies here who are already trying to persuade me to pick up Left 4 Dead, but I don't know if I'm as willing to shell out for that yet.

Have the PS3 version, so I'm not sure that I'll switch over to the 360 version. I'll have to make sure there's still sufficient activity first. I know there's been a billion add-ons to provide longevity though. Love the game on PS3.

I'm taking multiple suggestions, BTW.

I'd probably pass on Halo 3 (pick up ODST), but I suspect you're dying to play it.

I'd pass on L4D as well, the sequel is a few months away.

Much as I love Halo 3 there has been a significant drop in play over the last year, though it would be fun to tea-bag you. If you did buy Halo 3 there would have to be a few NN meet ups for old times sake...plus I really miss tooling on you guys.

As for a game you can play by yourself I can't recommend Fallout 3 enough (that is, if you don't already have it for PS3). It's massive, awesome, and has more DLC than you could shake a Wii-mote at.

If you're a masochist get GoW 2.

ODST comes with the multi on a second disc.

Gears is actually pretty playable now. Particularly since it gives me host now... that reminds me...

Hmm, I should join up with you, if nothing else but to steal host away from you with my god-like ping.

Party leader is the only person who can get host.

Seriously, this weekend I got it quite a bit. Maybe higher than once every 10 games.

BAH...I didn't realize ODST and L4D 2 were so close to release. I cut myself out of the loop for a long time so I wouldn't feel tempted.

Not a chance. I'm giving a good price, and the warranty and receipt are included. It'll fly off eBay.

Numbers 25:6-10

Then an Israelite man brought to his family a Midianite woman right before the eyes of Moses and the whole assembly of Israel while they were weeping at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, saw this, he left the assembly, took a spear in his hand and followed the Israelite into the tent. He drove the spear through both of them—through the Israelite and into the woman's body. Then the plague against the Israelites was stopped; but those who died in the plague numbered 24,000. The LORD said to Moses, "Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites; for he was as zealous as I am for my honor among them, so that in my zeal I did not put an end to them.

I can not recommend Gamefly enough. Not only do you get to play before you play, you also get better prices for buying them then box stores (and most online retailers) offer.

Also, UFC 2009 is pretty fun. I haven't tried online yet though.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

I've been wondering if it was worth it. I just thought of it as Netflix for games; I didn't know it had trade-ins and a used store. Definitely something I'm looking into.

I've returned. I've barely been on the forums at all.

The eBay auctions went perfectly, but I've delayed my 360 purchase until the seemingly inevitable price drop. In the meantime, I've nearly eliminated my already-small credit card debt from years past, and knocked out a good portion of my wife's student loan so that we can save up for a trip to Europe next year.

In other words, it's going to be a bit longer. I haven't changed my 360 plans; I've just delayed them for a while.

Actually, scratch all that from the last post.

Dakar is right. It's my wife's fault.
Not really, but it's convenient. And who would ever argue with the notion that a woman is to blame for everything?

We need to start placing bets (or make a poll). Who's going to buy first?
Jokell - xbox 360
or
Sek - Burnout Paradise

My money is on Jokell.

Slick shoes?! Are you crazy?!

I tried to dig up the story where I read it a few days ago, but to no avail. I thought it was a Kotaku article.
