Is it possible to use my Graphite Airport Basestation to connect to my already active wireless network.

I have an iMac without a AE card but I want to hook the ethernet off the back to the airport basestation and have that be my wireless card. I used to use the Airport as the access point but upgraded to a Linksys (g) since it was a gift.

Any help would be appreciated. I searched in Peripherals and Here to no avail.

Thanks.

That basestation won't do that. What you need is something that acts as a wireless bridge, a feature not supported by Apple's graphite base station.
