I have an ibook G4 w/10.4 and I have tried unsuccesfully to use the Arabic language pack throughout the os. I have gone through the international area in system prefs but the language does not appear correctly on screen or in Word. If there is a guide to this or if someone can help me out, that would be great. Thanks

Word doesn't support right-to-left languages, as I recall. Try Mellel and see if that works. It's designed especially for this kind of thing.
