I installed the 10.4.5 update on my iMac G5 (iSight), and Front Row seems to be a bit faster. Not as fast as the iPod's interface, but faster. (How does an iPod out do an iMac, anyway?) Anyone else feel the same way, or am I crazy?

An iPod runs completely basic software and that's all. An iMac is a computer that runs a full-fledged operating system with some hefty graphics on top.

Yes, but surely they could write a more responsive UI for Front Row, correct?

Yeah Frontrow is kinda sluggish. You'd think it'd pick up a lil snap as they keep updating it.
