The SP application bounces once and crashes since 10.3.6. I have tried:
1. Running disk permissions
2. Disk warrior
3. Archive install of 10.3.6
4. Using Pacifist to extract and install SP
5. Updating to 10.3.7
6. Creating new user account
but the same problem still ocuurs. Here is the Crash Log--any ideas? Other than this, the OS is stable.

i had a similar problem, but it was in 10.3.5 or before. I just copied the app from one of my other Macs and it fixed the problem.

I guess this is the source of the problem--there is no such plist file where you suggest and neither is it anywhere on my local disks!

Perhaps if the Application won't launch, it can't dreate a plist. Sort of Catch 22.

Any suggestions>

Hi rocky ..

Do a search for "systemprofiler" only in your home account

One shot in the dark ..
Clean your caches with this ..
Cache Out X

systemprofiler is not found anywhere on my HD. So I suppose this is the problem. I'll try another Pacifist install.
I've already run cache cleaner and that did not fix it either.
