Saw this on digg, Much nicer in my opinion, takes out the "shoosh line" in the dock and makes it a bit darker, I also darkened the frontline image and i think the dock looks 10X better

here are the files & info if anyone cares...

This is indeed awesome. What I would like to see is a fully re-realized dock using the provided images. Something not so, dock-ish mind you, maybe something with lemons, or even monkeys!

But really... What about replacing the images with other textures and whatnot?

i had to log-out, log-in to get spaces working again, but nice (for now). better than the ugly default.
where is apple getting it's designers? fired microsoft employees??

looking forward to unsanity: fruitmenu, cleardock, shapeshifter for 10.5...

I've put together a similar sort of thing myself, except it's black, and also allows you to change the reflectivity of the dock. I've also changed the running-applications indicators to make them more noticeable.

Dark, Fully Reflective:


Matte:


Semi-Glossy (reflections still there, but much subtler):
