my new macbook pro 2.4 ghz early 2008 matte led backlight screen purchased may 7 2009 new from mac connection and now it has 2 broken or stuck , dead pixels witch i find this to be unacceptable is this on apple to replace since its the pro line and under a year old computer. will apple care replace it ? if anyone knows the anwser please respond thanks

try it. play it full screen in quicktime or whatever and see if it doesn't "unstick" them. It has fixed several pixels for me in some older LCD displays, ipods, etc.

2 pixels will not be enough to get a replacement.

i just tried the video and didn't work and i looked at the screen more carefully and there are 7 pixels so what is the pixel limit apple uses for replacement ?
