Has anyone else looked at the Roku SoundBridge network music player? Seems a bit pricy to me but still very cool. What do you think about this? http://www.rokulabs.com/products/soundbridge/index.php
How are YOU playing your iTunes library through your home sound system?

I'm looking into this now. I was first made aware of the SoundBridge this morning. Looks interesting, and as far as I can tell, is the only player that supports AAC. It doesn't mention if it supports DRM AAC files, such as those that are purchased from the Apple Music Store. It's also nearly $500, which is awfully expensive.
I've also looked at the TurtleBeach AudioTron, and that looks nice. I got a Tivo for Christmas, and the Home Media Option supports playing MP3 files from my Mac, as well as iPhoto support. Since I can get a free trial of the Home Media Option, I'll probably try that first.

The smaller version is only $225. I wonder how it "integrates" with iTunes. Does it see all iTunes' music and playlists? Can you get .11g CF cards?

If it worked with iTunes (not replacing it), I would actually propably buy that. I was hoping Apple might put out a Digital Audio Reciver, but I really doubt they'd ever do anything like that.

I posted the question below in the Digital Audio forum - What do you guys think? If one has a networked mac near the stereo, would that be as good as the Roku and the like?
"I have seen many threads about getting your music through your home stereo and I have checked at the slimp3 and it's newer model. I am prepared to get one of these, but was thinking about another solution.
Here is my question - will the music sound as good just using iTunes sharing and my spare mac - Tibook 667 dvi connected via the powerwave to the stereo. (or any mac for that matter)? Does this compare favorably to using the networked players (like Slimp3, or the new Roku sound bridge)?"

Slimp3 connected to a WET11, DrayTek Vigor2600 Wireless ADSL Router physically wired to a Red Hat Linux box running Slimserver software. My iTunes library lives on the Red Hat box, so I can sleep my Mac at the end of the working day and still get music in my lounge. I can of course listen to MP3 streams too via the Slimp3 (it's a matter of setting up the appropriate .pls files)
