I have a 15" aluminum powerbook with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and I'm thinking about adding a 20" cinema display to run in "clamshell" mode with the PB display closed.

Can anyone tell me if I'll be able to wake/start the PB using the bluetooth keyboard? The PB user manual only mentions connecting a USB keyboard to the PB to wake it. If I have to, I'll spring for a USB keyboard, but I want to keep the wireless mouse.

Also, any experience out there with the new cinema displays? Can you place a PB on the base of the display while it's operating? I think that would look cool and also help with heat dissipation.

Thanks!

USB kb/mouse would wake it up. BUt i have the Apple Wireless (BT) mouse/kb and both wake up my PowerBook. It's a setting in the BT options.
Looking forward.

Yep, you can set the bluetooth devices to wake your computer, so after closing the lid and attaching the external monitor, simple press a key or move the mouse, and everything should be up and running just fine.

Thanks!

Does anyone have experience using a PB with the new cinema displays?
