I'm having real trouble with Real Player (pun not intended). Every other streaming program that I use (iTunes, Quicktime Player, even WMP) works like a charm and yet Real Player always loses its connection after about 60 seconds. I know that it's not pulling a higher connection speed than the others - it's trying about 20 kps while iTunes can easily pull 90 kps.
Any suggestions for getting the program to work? I wouldn't really care, but the BBC only uses Real Player for their streams.
Thanks.

Well, a complication. Could the problem be with my Airport Express? I can connect just fine at school but not at home - which is odd because usually I get a stronger signal at home than at school. The airport Express network times out after 60 seconds but the campus network is just fine

I've had trouble with the RealPlayer as well. Mine doesn't always timeout after 60 seconds, but it does other weird things like randomly lose the stream. This happens even when I'm connected via Ethernet.

try to turn off all other apps that talk to the internet for a while. like mail and newsreaders...maybe its conflicting with one of those apps as they are taking about all the bandwidth for a short period of time.
i have downloaded the latest version and only get timeouts rarely but i stream for hours on end some days..

This is covered in the Online Help in RealPlayer's Help menu, under Troubleshooting -> Network/Connectivity -> Airport Wireless issues.
