When I run Norton Disk Docter it says I have a damaged Spare Blocks File. I tell it to fix the problem. Then I run it again and it says the Spare Blocks file is crosslinked with another file. I tell it to fix it but it then says it cannot fix the problem. So I delete the other file. I run Norton Disk Docter over night. The next day after i get out of school it finally finishes. (It ran for 22 Hours!!) It then tells me The Spare Blocks File is damaged! What can I do?
I'm using a C600 Spermac and OS 8.1.
Please help.

Is this error coming up during the "Check Media" portion of the scan, or the "Check Directories" ?

Once I know that I might be able to help you.
