Thanks for the direct comparison. I must say the Tibook looks great!
It always turns out how good a design is, when you compare to a successor. I remember how ugly I thought the first Tibook looks like when I compared it to my Pismo.
Funny how attitudes change.

eBay...they pop up every now and again. little on the high side, I think I paid around $60 for each of those, but I was happy to pay the money for a quality cloth banner

with an apple ADC-to-DVI converter, $100..... the reason I did it was my crappy 15-inch monitor went out and I wanted someting bigger and better....plus it's kind of funny seeing XP on an Apple monitor

I like how Apple placed the slot optical drive near the bottom of the MacBook Pro body, with the 17" Al everytime I rest my hand on the laptopd body I can hear a sound, like it was flexing… annoying.

Wow, I didn't know the MBP could power the 30-inch....I was always under the impression that you had to have the $600 dual-DVI grapics card for the G5...Good to know

BTW...I hate you

Thanks Peter, that's useful, I like the look of that bag (it's like my old STM bag which won't fit the new MBP).

Also, nice set-up, it's quite similar to my own!

This was very helpful! I needed a new case since it wont fit in my old PB InCase sleeve. Picked one up for $64 shipped out of Austrilia though an eBay seller

Heh, thanks. They're Air Titanium, I think they may indeed have been the same brand as Steve's, certainly I once saw them being worn by a Bond villain who was clearly modelled on the Stevester...

I am in the process of moving into my new house, and finishing putting the final touches on my old house for the wife to sell. Once I am settled in, I figured I have lurked in this thread long enough..... so I will finally contribute.... I only hope mine will measure up to some of the set-ups I have seen.
