My wife's MBP has an X key that's no longer sitting right. In case I don't have to bring it into the Applestore, do these keys pop off and can be popped back in without breaking it? Are keys removable? I'm wondering if I can take the key off, realign it on the spring and push it back into place.

I blindly went ahead and pried off the key gently, and snapped it back into place. Good as new.
