My 533MHz G4 is adding tics to audio when i record from my mini disc to bias peak 4 LE. I am importing the audio using an iMic as the bridge between the two devices. This problem just showed up in the past few weeks. I have isolated the problem to my machine because another user imported the same audio with the same setup I have and it worked fine. No tics.

I have included a list of what has been attempted to alleviate the problem.

1. replaced iMic with a new one.
2. replaced stereo cord from iMic to mini disc
3. Unplugged external speakers thinking they might cause interference
4. Moved iMic from computer (maybe interference)
5. Move iMic and cord around
6. Try different mini disc recorder. still tics
7. Try different mini disc. Still tics.
8. Listen to audio from external speakers and with headphones plugged into back of computer.
9. Record audio while listening to audio on mini disc, no tics. Then listen to recorded audio on computer. tics present
10. Send copy of tic audio to other computers. They heard the tics.
11. Tics not heard from other audio sources....i.e. iTunes mp3s
12. Imported tic audio into iTunes. heard the tics.

Any help would be appreciated.
