The warranty's finally expired so I've decided to reflect my dedication to music, by decorating my iBook. Transparent edged stickers worked beautifully!

Sorry about the registration thing on the link. It's fixed now.

I like the feet on the logo, how about some hands or a hat?

Over all, settle and tastly... good job.

Those aren't feet, their my initials, back to back, which also look like the acronym for decibel, another music hint.

Putting stickers on an ibook voids its warranty?

I don't think they would say the stickers broke the logic board. But you never know maybe the extra weight would just make it snap?

This however would void your warranty. But if you have no warranty is a cool inexpensive and best of all easy mod.

I suppose stickers wouldn't void the warranty. I didn't know and didn't feel like asking, so I just waited. That, and I was still appreciating its clean look and feel. The feeling passed.

I know exactly what you mean. I loved the heavenly bright white for a while, then after a couple hundred, wow it is all white, and why is it white, remarks from people I wanted to do something more to it. Even if it was something small(like coloring the apple and getting it to glow a different color). What made me realy want to do this (I am still looking for an older 14" monitor shell) are these cool iBooks.

this is why I really want a an older shell that I can strip the white of of.

Here are some other cool custom paint jobs.

thisone shows how to do it.
