Does anyone make a program that (for giggles) makes the sound of an old typewriter as you type.

I think that would be interesting.

In the Universal Access keyboard prefs:

Slow Keys: on
Use key click sounds
"Instead of either 'multi-talented' or 'multitalented' use 'bisexual'."

It would be cool if we could force this on while typing in these forums...

There are three best ways.

1. As Chuckit said.
2. KeyClick
3. Typewriter Keyboard

Typewriter Keyboard is the best application because it offers the best typing sound and has an option to disable sounds for keys you want to stay silent, the Command, Option and Shift keys for example. I just translated the application to Italian for the developer today

the menubar icon looks ugly, is there any way to change it? i looked under its resources, there's no file that i can think of that replaces it.
there're 2 icns files, one for the app itself, the other is un-previewable.
