The new Panther Aqua interface is beautiful. Except for the brushed metal and I'm sure that there's thousands of people out there to agree with me on that.

Therefore I've created a small guiKit for Shapeshifter for your pleasure. It's the Panther Aqua interface without the brushed metal.

Enjoy it at http://homepage.mac.com/noaqua

Uhhhhh, if you think that Aqua is beautiful and brushed is ugly why did you call it NoAqua??? Shouldn't it be NoBrushed or YesAqua?

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Well, the theme is actually called Panther Aqua No Brushed. Sorry if my mac.com username misled you...

Cool, but I don't think it was your username that mislead me! :-]

You're both right...

Allthough, the name NoAqua COULD be used for future theming...

I don't agree on the fact that Metallifizer is a substitute for Panther Aqua No Brushed. Metallifizer removes the borders from the Finder windows as well. And it's still in beta. Or alpha.

BUT... Metallifizer will be my choice of brushed metal-removal application when it's released.

Nice site and idea '/Martin' - But I am using
metallifizer-13a1 and it works fine for me.

What I prefer about metallifizer is the fact it
puts a title bar back in the finder window
rather than the flat window you are left with
using your NoAqua theme.

But a big shout for producing other options
for peeps, than having to go APE.

If you were to produce a 'smoothstripes' variant
-No stripes at all in the theme...
that would be even more tempting to use.

Oh yes, that's already been done ;)

Simple Empire...
