Um....wtf?
Next thing you know, there'll be a tech note on how to use the MacNN search feature.

Just kidding; knowing MacNN, maybe you tried and just got fatal errors...

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

No dummy should have a PC, after all.

PCs are only for smart people.

It's still funny, even if this particular thread earns the timeline.

From the looks of Longhorn's control centers, that was the one designed for idiots. But idiots aren't going to read a paragraph of text to figure out how to use a computer.

Music:

Would you like to listen to Music?
- Internet Radio?
- Your own music files?
- Your own CD?
- Stolen Music on your iPod?
- Buy some Britney off MSN Music? It won't work in the iPod (their choice, not ours)
- I could play a MIDI file for you right now?

Would you like to make some music?
- Get an iBook, they come with GarageBand, but you'll need an iMic (which sucks, it should have audio in)
- Use moviemaker2, it has a recorder
- why are you still reading this?
- spin the propellor and play the theme from night court

Perhaps someone should tell MacNN that this is old news, then; I only posted the thread 'cause they posted the link as news yesterday!

http://www.macnn.com/news/26657

Figuring it was a new technote, didn't feel the need to do a search. So there.
