I was looking at a demo of Panther in the Apple Store and saw that when you opened an application using the Icon View, an animated zoom-out effect using a transparent and fading icon would occur. Excellent animation and a nice touch.

When I installed Panther today, however, I noticed that the effect didn't happen. My machine supports QE, fast user switch cube effect and all, so I know it isn't that. Any reason why this might not work? Any help is appreciated.
