Of course now, if we were to mock your deeply held beliefs you wouldn't like it very much... but you doing it to others is completely OK eh?

You mean like how christian groups go to other countries and convert people from their religion to yours?

I'll take care of that for you.

If you had posted that, would I be deeply offended? No.

Do I think that someone suffering as they are being crucified is a funny thing? Absolutely not.

Am I willing to make fun of a religious figure whose accomplishments have been blown WAY out of proportion over the last two thousand years? You bet your ass I am!

One option but... wouldn't Jesus -if he indeed ever existed- have worn an iBelieve while he shuffled of this mortal coil?

You do know that everything Jesus was supposed to have done - from birth to death and after - were taken from earlier religious leaders.

Good. I would hate to think you didn't know the origin of your religion.
Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion - Steven Weinberg.

You do know that before Jesus came about (Thousands of years before his arrival) His story was told also?

So that really means nothing xenu.

We can go round like this all day if you wish.

That's certainly one way to justify stealing the good bits from older established religions.

Please, mock my deeply held beliefs. I cherish my beliefs not because of, not in spite of, what others might think of them but because of their meaning for me. The fact that someone else mocks them is completely irrelevant to me and my beliefs. They can mock me and my beliefs all they want, I don't care.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

I'll play. Please prove to the class that Christians stole these things, and it's just not an idea that you like to treat as a fact.
Please show your undeniable proof.

You can't, and you know it.

You want it to be true. So your faith has made you accept it as the truth.

Just like the Christians you bash.
