OMGERD, Alex Jones!? Hold on a second. Yeah, he's off the deep end, but he's not entirely wrong either. Society is being controlled, though I don't agree with him to the degree, the ones doing it aren't as skillful as he alleges and their agendas aren't as well defined. I'm talking about Billy Corgan's views, which I believe are on point. What's going on in America, and to some degree other countries, but largely it's most obvious in the US (and Aus), is an orchestrated division, and through that division the two main ideological sides are being played against each other.
Over the last week I changed from my normal news aggregates (ex. Reuters, BBC, The Hill, Slate, Forbes) and switched full Progressive: Salon, HuffPo, MoJones, Rolling Stone, Daily Beast, MSNBC, etc..and after the first couple days of "gag reflex" I was able to let myself settle into a different perspective. We're all being played with each side demonizing the other, in a rather sloppily-orchestrated manner, and the heat is being turned up for this election cycle.

Propaganda is like that. If you know how the various tricks are used, soon you;ll see them stick out like a sore thumb in written articles. Grab a story from anywhere. Use a yellow highlighter to highlight every sentence which is opinion stated as fact, or sentence that really is just editorial BS by the writer. Many MSM articles are almost half BS and opinions.
