I have a white iPod case with lanyard and belt loop for the iPod. It's for the full sized iPod. My iPod Video is loose in it, so an older iPod should fit nice and snug in there. There is a belt loop on the back and a lanyard to attach to it.
I also have an i-Tec iPod Voice Recorder for the older iPods (I think iPod 3gen and 4 gen and I believe the mini as well). It doesn't work on the iPod video. Notice the little rectangular plug thingy next to the 1/8" jack in the photo below. It has a microphone, speaker and led light.
I destroyed the packaging but still have the instructions to the voice recorder. These have never been used.
I picked these up for pretty cheap to find out they won't work with the new iPod Video. You can have both for $17 shipped. Paypal preferred.
