3 years ago (my God, has it been that long) I posted this poll.
besson3c tried again but it got locked pretty quick, and so, with all the best intentions, I am re-making the poll, with the original answers.
Also, it's public.

I don't usually make things like this public, but:
I have never got laid by Calverson.
And I intend to stay untainted in that regard.
Thank you for your attention.

Ah sh*t! I read and reread this post 5 times checking for any faux pas that I could be trolled for–ignoring the title. Dammit!
Any mod's wanna rename this to Calverson's Official 'How Often Do You Get Laid' Poll?
And sek–I understand. I have been married two years now, and I gotta say, it's like Pringles.

Very tempted to use the "So she gets it from the yoga teacher 3 times a week and from you 4 times a week" line but that would be beneath me.

Yoga teacher is a girl about the same age as her, in fact I hooked up with her once as well quite a while ago.

I too have never been laid by Calverson.
But in terms of women, more than 5 times a week.

Congrats Shaddim. Although, for some reason, I always though you gay.
How long have you been married? As I mentioned earlier, I have been married for 2 years and will her for almost 3, and it still is pretty often.

I know this is a fun thread and stuff, but to prevent it from being locked like mine was, here's a related point of conversation...
Do you guys ever find your generic internet person who insists on telling people how often they get laid, how they are cool in real life, how physically intimidating they are, how much money they make, how much of an expert they are in some area, etc. in a serious way to be at least a little insecure? What has to happen in a very general way before you start to suspect somebody feeling insecurity?
No insinuations here, just wondering... Clearly the sorts of conversations we are willing to start online are often different than those we'd start in real life, assuming that Calverson doesn't take polls among strangers in real life asking them how often they get laid

There is something wrong with the internet...
I discuss this kinda thing with friends over a beer–I am sure that we all do. And yes; the generic internet peoples who are stupidly egotistical are probably insecure. I don't know many of them personally, so I couldn't say for sure, but it would not surprise me.
I am probably insecure in some ways, but probably much less so than more people in the world. I say this because I am doing exceptionally well for a person of my age, and I actually enjoy living. Like, legit. I'm happy.
I like messing around on teh NN cause there are some people here and some comments and convos that actually make me laugh sometimes. I don't really truly care to know how often people get laid, really, or boast at how often (or not) I do. It's all in jest and for a laugh.
In fact, that seems like a good idea for a thread... brb!

I didn't mean to make you feel defensive if I did. I mean, I started my own thread asking people about how often they get laid, so I understand the whole screwing around and having fun thing. However, I'm sure we've both come across people on the internet who in earnest try to intimiate other people or make themselves look awesome by going on about how often they get laid, or are rich, have particular real-life credentials, or whatever...
Often times these sort of people seem really pathetic to me, and I don't think they realize how silly they look. It's the internet, we can all say what we want and adopt whatever personality and persona we want. For all you know I could be a 60 year old pedophile. It is silly to take anything at face value (and to care), so it always amuses me when people get all aggressive and are so earnest in making you think that they are awesome/credentialed/experienced/powerful/etc. in real life.
Again, I realize that this is just a screwing around thread, so I mean this in a general way

I wasn't even being defensive. I agree with you pretty much completely (surprisingly). In fact, I started another thread that is meant to be the total opposite of every other thread I think that I ever started.

Gay? Nope, not me. Married over six years and it's been amazing, stressful but amazing.
As for sex, when everything is running on all cylinders, the three of us can do some damage.

Now he's going to wonder who the third one is.
hint: the third one is not the baby inside his wife, nor is it his strudel

I'm part of a polyamorous marriage where we practice polyfidelity. It's worked well so far.

Wow, that's actually kind of interesting Shaddim. Is dealing with societal expectations of polygamy difficult from time to time as far as how people react when you share this info?

We don't usually explain, we just behave normally. Because for us, it is normal. Some people get curious, but rarely does anyone bother us over it.

I hope you never have to encounter those who have narrow beliefs of what marriage should entail (e.g. the anti-gay marriage crowd). We always hear about how love is love when it comes to bolstering gay marriage, and I think that is valid, but we hear this far less so when it comes to how marriages are structured. I say whatever sort of marriage you can make work, awesome, and that the notion that "traditional" marriage needing to be the backbone of our society and somehow being the only valid and superior partnership is narrow minded. With the socially conservative traditional marriage comes a lot of outdated concepts I wish would go away.
I hope there is a day where the sort of marriage you have is not all that unusual.

As you know, sometimes keeping marriage going is difficult. Well, for each person you add the difficulty is cubed. It's never boring, though.
