I have a 17" powerbook (rev. A) that I may sell when I get a G5 tower. It has 1 gig of ram. Is there a range that I should sell it at? Or is there a website that is kind of like a blue book price for macs?

You will find your Powerbook to hold its value fairly well. I sold mine for about $2400, but that was a month or so ago. Check out ebay for approximate prices. Beware of scams though. I would also recommend craigslist.org. Nothing more secure than face to face transactions with cold, hard cash.

You should be able to get around $2300 for it, provided that it is in good shape.

Have a holiday in the UK and sell it there. The dollar is so weak you'll get a good price there! The extra money you earn will pay for the holiday

they do hold their value very well indeed. you should probably get anywhere from $2100 to $2300 (with the gig of ram). Might be closer to the $2100 until Apple runs out of the Rev. A refurbs.
