The unit is in excellent working condition. It's a refurb direct from Apple but arrived in pristine condition. It's also barely used. It's a secondary machine (other machine is a G4 dualie), used only for short out of town trips (5 trips total).
There are no noticeable scratches and it's missing one of its rubber feet but that can easily be replaced. Battery life is still very good as that it hasn't seen much action. There are no scratches or dead pixels on the screen and unit has never been into the shop. I'm including for free, my screen protector made from optex fabric. This has kept my screen scratch free and it serves as a cleaner for it as well.

You might want to lower the price. $800 is a little high and the case probably won't bring that much more value. Just my opinion of course. Good luck.

i have a 700 ibook too, and i hate to say it, but i just dont think these are worth that much anymore.
