I have a nice USB 2 external Lacie PD drive that i would like to upgrade. I think it's 40GB. When I bought it they assured me it was a standard 3.5" drive and could be upgraded. I want to buy a larger drive and pop it in there.
But I don't see a simple way to open the case?
Has anyone done this before?
Thanks in advance!
Chris

I've tried to open those up before and you can really tell that they weren't designed for being upgraded/worked on after they leave Lacie's factory... I really think Lacie works to make them hard for users to open...
Good luck...

if you open the case, you'll more than likely void the enclosure warranty.....I'd keep that in mind.
