Anyone else notice that the "Clear Recent Searches" is now missing from the search part of the toolbar since the last update to 4.0.3?

Excellent idea, I now wish I had done the same.

I had this problem when I had Safari Adblock loaded with Safari 4.0.3. I've reverted to 4.0.2 for now.

Just start typing. The recent searches appear in the autofill menu. Even hitting the space bar works.

Some pages will say "Loading" forever even after they've loaded, too.

Same endless loading here too. Also some pages won't load at all and the only way to get them to load is to quit Safari and relaunch. A royal pain.

Safari 4.03 is only partially compatible with Inquisitor now. Inquisitor still works. The problem is that the built-in suggestions list and recent searches are displayed on top of the Inquisitor results. Given Yahoo's reluctance to update Inquisitor on a timely basis (it still doesn't return search results if you pick Google as the search engine) it appears I will either have to give up Inquisitor and see if the less well designed (IMO) Glims will work ... or revert back to Safari 3.02.

Have any of the above "issues" been resolved as of yet? I've been holding off on this update.

As was suggested in another forum I downloaded the combo update again to the 10.5.7 clone I have on an external HD. I booted into the clone on the external HD and re-applied the combo update from the clone to my internal HD running 10.5.8, repaired permission and all is now running smoothly with no problems.

The permanent loading with Safari Adblock was resolved with an update.

Yes. But for me, Addblock doesn't work nearly as well as it used to any more. I switched back to PithHelmet for now.
