Hi there after making a imac 700 healdes server in a atx case and a dual 1,3 ghz sawtooth in a siled atx case ,
my new project:
By chance i got a xseve mainboard and a G5 1,8 GHz processor for just 600 dollars yep cheap ass but what now?
i'm going to make a xserve but nead to know some things
the pin out of the power connector. any one?
hmm and what about the ide controller? i'm going to use fw till i sove that issue .thanx for any help

you could make it a desktop and order a power supply from apple put a graphics card in the expansion slot and get a monitor.

yes i was going to put it in a atx server case. because it wont fit in a u1 case because the heatsink of the processor is to big.
hmm ordering the psu and the pci-x risercard from apple, i'm going to do ask the price monday. I think ist going to be verry expencive. but dont have a choice because there is no one how has the pinout yet. ;(
