I made a series of images to use as my desktop pictures, which are animated when I turn on Changing in the Desktop preference pane. The lowest interval is 5.0 seconds...I was wondering if there was any way to make that even lower.

I tried editing com.apple.desktop and changing "5.000" to "1.000," but whenever I do that it just stays at 5 seconds.

Thanks!

I have no idea how to do exactly what you want, but I will point out some alternatives to playing with the system. Download an app that lets you play movies as your desktop, or one that lets you play screen savers as your desktop (there is also an app to convert any quicktime movie into a screensaver). This will probably do whatever it is you are trying to do with the images. If you really want one full second per image and not video just edit the files in a quicktime movie so that each lasts a second and then make that into your desktop.
