iTunes - Duplicate Songs

I recently decided to organize my music. Before, all my songs were in different locations, so I decided to have iTunes copy them into the "Music" folder.
I deleted the songs from my playlist, then, re-copied the songs from the various locations, having iTunes copy my music to the Music folder.
However, I have a lot of duplicate songs. It's tedious to go through every song and delete the duplicates. Is there any way (ie, AppleScript) to remove duplicate files?
Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem. Have you ever tried MP3 Rage? I know it has an option to do that (and a lot more)

Since all your music is now in your Music folder, use Disk Copy to make an image of your Music folder.
Then go to iTunes and select all songs in your library. Type cmd-delete. iTunes will ask if you want to delete the original files as well as the library entries. Say yes. You have now deleted ALL of the music files in ALL locations.
But not to worry. Simply mount the image of your music folder and copy the music back to your music folder.
Finally, in iTunes, choose Add to Library from the File menu and select the music folder.
