I'm on a mailing list for a group which uses "play names" and by which I know these people.

Unfortunately, many of them have used their real-world names in setting up their email accounts. So instead of seeing "High Center" I see "John Q. Public".

Is there any way, using Mail.app's built-in rules or via an external AppleScript that I can have the human name part of the sender rewritten on the fly? Anyone have examples, or hints as to where in the API spelunking might be fruitful?
