Permission repair issues...

Does anyone know why when repairing permissions on Snow Leopard I get these two errors? The Derby one started occurring after the last System Update (it says it's repaired, but it keeps turning up). Are these normal?
2009-12-31 06:13:30 -0600: Permissions differ on "usr/share/derby", should be drwxr-xr-x , they are lrwxr-xr-x .
2009-12-31 06:13:52 -0600: Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Pro tip: Plug those error messages into Google.
The latter one is listed in Apple's own support documents as a message that can be safely ignored.
The former is reported by a number of users on Apple's Discussion forums and can probably be ignored as well.

"Waste" is users like headbirth (and countless hundreds of others) being unnecessarily confused by buggy messages from Disk Utility (due to a software update flaw), and having to ask questions about those "irrelevant lines of text" that we shouldn't be subjected to in the first place. It weakens Disk Utility's effectiveness as a trustworthy troubleshooting tool.
Stick that (to Apple) why don't we?

Is being surly in a Mac-oriented technical thread going to get Apple to fix that buggy message, or the cause of it? Probably not. Suggesting that every Mac user that encounters this message report it as a bug might.
"Waste" is also something that we overuse. Perhaps we like wasting time on these forums. Wouldn't it be neat if we could be helpful while we were doing that?
