Is there any way to remove the speech regognition box that floats above everything on your screen when Plaintalk is enabled? This really bugs me.

Not that I know of but, The best way I have found to make it unoticable is to set the Voice character to "Lights" and then double click on the top of the lights window with window shade enabled throwing it into a corner of my desktop.

Is there a way to trick my mac into thinking that I have two monitors? That way, I could just drag the window onto the other screen. I noticed that you can only drag the window of so far.

It has been my expirience that while Apple's speach rec software is fun, it is not usefull enough to use full time. What they need to do is have all teh spech rec controled by one master program instead of just files in a folder, so you can really customize things. It wouldn't take a whole lot to do this either. IBM has new software, i've never used it though, so i don't know if it has a better interface or not.
