Also Trump thoughtlessly praising the killing of drug dealers because it's all he knows about the Philippines.

I didn't catch it was leaked from their end but I still would wonder why.

The drug thing is to build up support for their psycho drug policy.

The sub thing is to allay fears of regional instability.

I'll put it to the floor whether this is the proper way to report the story.

The doubts about the intel weren't "hardened" until after Comey had his big press conference where he closed the case.

Does this rate higher than paragraph 10? Perhaps in paragraph 4, where they say the FBI assessment is the intel is bad?

Hmm, those unmarked busses sure look familiar. Good luck in Chicago, subego, the professional protesters have arrived to pitch a fit and clog traffic.

(Nice new Dodge Challenger R/T in the shot, though.)

Ha! I actually used to use the pool at the hotel they're checking into.

(And have made copious use of the 24-hour aspect of that particular McDonald's)

Is this post from the AP or Reuters' forums? It certainly looks reliable.

CNN. (Hardly, the MSM is too scared to report on this kind of thing, they may end up with all those bussed-in hatemongers in their own lobbies.)

The Seth Rich talk is a "conspiracy theory", yet the Russian investigation is merely "a developing story missing key facts".

Shit, Fox says he was punched, too.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017...-reporter.html
At that point, Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him. Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the man, as he moved on top the reporter and began yelling something to the effect of "I'm sick and tired of this!"

Its STANDARD behavior for the leftist butthurt Democrats, so it MUST BE OK right?
It's not like we ever hear Democrats condemning that sort of behavior.

Anyone question the rude behavior of this 'professional'?

You're arguing Trump should dissolve those programs then?

I bitched about the NSA program the moment we heard about it.

Obama showed in his first term he had no issue with turning us into a surveillance state, and it's why I said under no circumstances should anyone vote to reelect the man.

I wasn't the slightest bit surprised by the extent of the damage revealed, and which continues to be revealed. No one else should be either.

You don't try and choke-out a reporter for being rude. Full stop.

I'd like to point out that despite being on tape and eyewitness reports the campaign still lied about assaulting the reporter.

I've only read the transcript, but I don't see how the sounds would definitely show Gianforte as lying.

FNC reporters saying something else is another matter.

Hot take: this added variable wrecks the experiment of how well anti-Trump sentiment has invigorated Democratic voters.

So in your book It's standard behavior for journalists to get beat up by republican blowhards? Apparently. Republican blowhards can't help themselves from being bullies, is that what you're saying? And it's ok? For condoning this, you basically give my state rep a free ticket to kick the breitbart news "reporter" in the balls. It's very telling that the fox news people were witnesses, were aghast, and verified the audio.

FFS what planet do you live on. I'm tired of giving you the benefit of the doubt, telling myself "there's no way he can be that ignorant." You really are, badkosh.

Any politician that can't handle the pressure of being asked simple questions isn't qualified to be in government. Boohoo, the mean reporter asked questions.

All I'll say is it would make a poor closing argument for Gianforte's defense team at his trial for misdemeanor assault.

So the *PRESS* can act however they want without consequences? WHY SHOULD a politician or anybody else have to stand there and be treated like that? I would do probably worse, like banging their little baseball sized heads on the floor a few times. Manners are a lost art. It doesn't sound like a set-up to you?

Strangely I'm almost with you on this. The reporter was totally out of line and I might have kicked his ass too. That said, you just call the security guards to escort him out, thats what they are there for. Gotta be able to keep your cool or maybe you aren't fit for office.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

So what was it?
1. Montana is just too red?
2. Quist was too out there?
3. Too much early voting has already taken place?
4. The event had no effect on the outcome, or actually worked for Gianforte?

In discussing all the leaks, came across this tidbit.

In 2013, Amazon signed a $600 million contract with the CIA.

Right afterwards, Bezos buys the Washington Post for $300 million.
