Another reason why the Mac gaming community suffers. Stop piracy!

Buy the game man! One ebay or whatever, it must be real cheap.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

It's really cheap now. You can probably get Starcraft and Broodwar for $10.

I've seen the "Starcraft Battle Chest" (with Starcraft, Brood War, strategy guides and quick-reference cards for both) for $19.99 at a number of different stores, including Target and Best Buy. Dunno if you can find it cheaper elsewhere, but that's still a great price.

It's cheap. Buy it.

Install in classic, and then get the updates here.

Just so you don't waste your time.. there is no place where you can download games off a conventional website.. well, maybe a few on the PC side, but this is mac, they don't exist.

Can't you just buy from ebay or something, and get it shipped? (I don't know how it works for international)

Hey all,
Alright, i listen to you guys, I went to the retailer shop just now and bought the Starcraft Battle Chest. I was so happy..

When i got back and put the CD inside my iMac superdrive, I installed it.. but in the middle of the installation, the was a popup shows that :::
"Couldn't open installer archive. You must run the installer on the Starcraft CD"

has anyone encountered this problem before? So what am i suppose to do now?

If you installing while booted into OS X, you can try and download this to install.

http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/starcraf...ler_1.05-B.sit

If that doesn't work, boot into OS 9 and install from there.
