Hmmmm...Macnn seems to have lost the text of my original post.

I know people can hear "sizzling" from their keyboard. Seems to be the graphics processor.

But when the computer is drawing things, it seems to make more noise. I can physically hear it draw the Keynote transitions, and I can hear a Web page moving around.

Anyone know what I mean? Anyone else's 17" doing this?

LosJackal, I noticed a slight squeaking kind of sizzling sound this morning, but haven't heard it since. This was while doing some light web surfing. Dunno what it is, but you're not crazy.

I hope it goes away. I'll take it in to my local Apple store once they have stock and ask them if it's normal.

I hear it too, it really isn't too obnoxious though. We probably never heard it before on the Ti's due to the fans running almost always.

Your right. It did exist on the 1GHZ but you couldn't hear it because of the fan, I did hear it on my 800DVI. My 17" is doing it also but I don't think it is significant. I'll have to spend more time with the machine to know for sure.
