Is the Radeon HD 2400XT slower than the 7300GT?

If it is, then I'll shoot for an older model. But I'm going to be dabbling with FCP and I need to make sure that the new iMacs will be fine just for messing around in it. I'll be upgrading the RAM to 3GB or 4GB (depending on which model I get).

In most tests the 7300GT seems roughly comparable to the HD 2400 XT. The HD 2600 PRO is better but it's still well below the 7600GT. A HD 2400 PRO (which fortunately isn't used in the iMac) would come out slower than the 7300GT in most tests.
